Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe
continues to be one of the prime countries within Africa for
hunting safaris. Our recent trips to Zimbabwe have shown
that the country is still providing quality trophies at
several of the safari areas and Zimbabwe's conversion to the
US Dollar has done wonders in regards to the the countries
infrastructure. We represent several safari outfitters in
Zimbabwe. Due to this the trophy fees and daily rates listed
below are an average representing the different Safari
outfitters we work with. We will confirm all prices prior to
you booking your safari with us.
Mokore
Safaris
Mokore is situated in the world famous Save Valley
Conservancy in the south east lowveld of Zimbabwe. The Save
Valley Conservancy is just under 1 million acres in size and
is reported to be the largest private wildlife area in the
world. The area is renowned for its large leopards and has
an abundance and wide variety of plainsgame animals. There
is a wide diversity of habitats including open acacia
woodland, mopane woodland, thick riverine vegetation and
broken granite outcrops. The Big Five occur on Mokore and
could be seen during your safari there.
Zambezi Valley
The Zambezi Valley is a very wild and remote area in the
north of Zimbabwe. Our outfitters have been operating this
concession for over 30 years. There is no fencing and the
area is surrounded by National Parks and other hunting
concessions. The Zambezi Valley is regarded as one of the
prime areas in Africa for hunting dangerous game such as
elephant, lion, buffalo and leopard. The Zambezi Valley has
its very own special and personal appeal to the experienced
hunter as it is one of the last untouched and unspoiled
places left in Africa.
Kazuma and Ngamo Sikumi
Kazuma and Ngamo Sikumi are State Forest areas in the north
west of Zimbabwe close to Hwange National Park. These areas
offer exceptional elephant, buffalo and sable trophies.
Hunts conducted in these areas are done in conjunction with
Ngamo Safaris of the Forestry Commission.
Matetsi
The Matetsi Safari Area situated in North
Western Zimbabwe close to Victoria Falls is Zimbabwe’s
oldest and best known hunting safari area. The game rich
Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest totaling some 8,000
square miles, together with Matetsi Safari Area, Kazuma
National Park, Zambezi National Park and Pandamasui Forest
area combine to form one of Africa’s largest unspoiled,
wilderness areas over 12,500 square miles.
